At Sreechithra Ayurhome, our Stress & Sleep management program involves procedures like Samvahana (synchronized soothing massages), Kaayaseka (irrigation of medicated oils/water or milk over the body), Sirodhara (irrigation of medicated oils or milk over the forehead) etc, to soothe the spastic muscles and tensed nerves. Simultaneously customized Hatha and Kriya yoga sessions help calm down the mind & bring back the natural pace and equilibrium of the body, mind & soul.

Stress is one of the most common reasons for many of our ailments today. Most of us love living in the fast lane. We don’t stop to breath and look around us, so immersed we are in our work and personal lives. We thus forget to look within ourselves. Stress, strain and anxiety are the root causes of our deteriorating health. Stress management hence is paramount to good health both physically and mentally. Ayurveda firmly believes that this stress combined with pollution and unhealthy eating cause ill health to manifest in many ways. Therefore stress management involves treating the impact of the body on the mind and vice versa as well. Our approach is holistic and we put together programs and take care of not just the body but also the nerves. We recommend soothing massages, pizhichil, Shirodhara and other treatment to calm the frazzled mind and body. The Tridoshas are in imbalance and this leads to the serious manifestation of an ill body. Hence this deficit has to be corrected. And because at Ayurvedagram we work in tandem with the sister science of Yoga, we encourage you to be a part of our Yoga sessions which also include Pranayama and Meditation. These will definitely help you recover the lack of rhythm and focus on bringing the body and mind together as one

  • Njavarkizhi (Stress relief through full-body massage with medicinal rice gruel contained in a pouch).

  • Elakizhi (Therapeutic massaging with warm pouches containing herbs).
